meanwhile getting VCD to work on Linux nowadays is... a bit rough tbh
you have exactly three options, none are perfect:
1. Use VLC to play via VCD option. It loads, but then imperfections strike back (artifacts, corrupted video per X seconds)
2. Rip the entire VCD via [vcdimager](
). It will take a while, But most of the time you BARELY got any corruptions.
3. Use Windows host to rip it. They did well most of the time. Also the easiest.
