💡Spotlight on Bitcoin for Fairness (BFF)
About:
Bitcoin for Fairness (BFF) is a non-profit initiative, dedicated to spreading Bitcoin knowledge with a focus on civil and human rights, especially in the Global South.
Some Key Objectives:
🔹Educate and Empower: Provide Bitcoin education through workshops, meetups, and hands-on training on wallet setup, key management, earning, saving, and spending Bitcoin, tailored for real-world use in high-inflation or bank-restricted environments.
🔹Support Local Educators: Run the Crack the Orange scholarship program, training Bitcoin educators and community builders in emerging countries and certifying them as Bitcoin professionals to create local ambassadors.
🔹Amplify Human Rights: Highlight stories of Bitcoin users, who use Bitcoin to bypass financial censorship, fund activism, and rebuild communities.
🔹Build Resilient Communities: Strengthen local Bitcoin networks by supporting meetup groups, messaging channels, and infrastructure like Bitcoin and Lightning nodes.
🔹Create Opportunities: Enable people in emerging economies to earn Bitcoin through roles like liaison officers, editors, and task-based work, fostering financial inclusion.
