The more people [especially pensioners] the police and this stupid government arrest for allegedly supporting a non-violent organisation, the more foolish and out of control this stupid government appears. The behaviour and mindset of colonial occupiers has never won, never been popular, and never overcomes the facts and the truth. I hope the judges and the courts and juries will see the utter nonsense and futility of this; and see how much taxpayers monies are being wasted pursuing something that is not a crime. Meanwhile there are people who committed serious crime, people who are the victims of crime and their cases are piling up. It’s not justice. In this climate the law is an ass. 55 arrested during Palestine Action march in London
:alert: :alert: :alert: :alert: :alert: :alert: :alert: Someone I was mutuals with, and who shall remain nameless for now, has posted my bio over on BlueSky and they never asked me if this was OK. I’m not on Bluesky and have no intention of ever being there. As a result I have removed my photo - I will replace it with something else in due course; and I have changed my settings here. I was badly doxxed and stalked when I was on Twitter, and I never want to go through the hell I went though back there - ever again. It seems that not only have they posted my bio over there, but done it in such a way that my entire timeline appears over there. I’m shocked, feel a bit sick, and I’m very upset/angry about this. UPDATE I’ve had no response from my [now] former mutual. I have blocked him. In these screenshots are the DM I sent him, and his bio. I note in his bio it does not mention that he uses BlueSky or that he bridges there. So, if anyone wants to report him to their moderators; or to block him for their own privacy & protection, now you know who it is. I’m surprised also because he’s in Denmark, and should know about consent, privacy, and data protection.
It is vindictive, childish, and petty. It shows a government who refuses to listen to what its membership and its MPs are telling it; one that prefers an authoritarian approach. It is everything #Labour should never be. The big question is - will increasingly disenfranchised members remain in the party and grumble, or will they actually do something? They could take action to have a VONC in Starmer and remain in a newly energised and differently led party; OR they could leave, join the Greens [who are the only party around with actual Labour values] or they could joing the growing crowd in Independents with Zara Sultana.
