Driving to church this morning, pulled into Walmart to pick up something, and hear the unmistakable grinding or wheel bearings. Get out, touch rhe right rear wheel, YIKES! That's hot! Turn around, go straight back home. Gotta get that fixed now. $$$ Argh, life.
I'm too paranoid of a car passenger to doze while someone else is driving. It'll take a long long while before I switch a machine to full auto-drive mode and a zone out.
I see far more things about an autist than about a flautist. Why that be?
My silly app is showing solar activity at a 1, but supposedly there's a lot going on. Not sure what to make of that. #gos
image Although I give out way too much candy (and it's gotten expensive!), I'm not a big Halloween person. I do love to see the kids' costumes and the "neighborhoodness" of it all though...saying "Hi" to people I never interact with normally although they live close by. In this way, I guess I do really like that aspect of Halloween. However, instead of regular Halloween decorations, I've been working on a decoration from a different angle, something I care more about. October 31, 1517 was "Reformation Day," the day Martin Luther started to bring the church back to its Biblical roots from which it had veered. Particularly, it's the day that started people to remember that salvation comes by faith in Christ, and not by works - anything you or the church or I do. In the Old Testament, Josiah used the Book of the Law to draw the people back in line with God's word after they'd strayed. Luther used the Gospel message of faith-yields-forgiveness to do the same thing. It's a bit hard to see on my plywood sketch, but Luther, the monk, is hammering the 95 Theses to the church door. The drawing of the 95 Theses illustration was the easy part. The hard part, I think, will be cutting out shapes with a jigsaw, the areas with the Xs. I'm not even sure I can do it or that the desired effect will even be achieved which is a white-on-black silhouette image when a light is shown on it at night. I'm definitely not sure I can get it done by this Halloween. We shall see.
October baseball is fantastic. #gos
With all that's going on, what would Satoshi say?
I'm tired of the imbecile pickup truck boys idling their diesel pickups in their driveways for tens of minutes on end. No reason to do it, only the stupidest of stupid reasons. Read and learn if you have a diesel:
