I saw someone argue here yesterday that it’s reasonable for people to unsubscribe to news publications because the Trump administration *might find out and persecute them for reading things it doesn’t like* and…I am haunted. Idk if it was a real person or an op but it seems like a problem.

I have spent the last 12 hours bleaching and steam-cleaning every part of the house our dog touches so he doesn’t re-infect himself with a locally surging parasite and like…idk it’s not how I would choose to relax but Death Steaming is pretty cathartic actually
I think the main difference between me now and me in my 20s (besides whatever time does to bodies) is that although I am so susceptible to stress that I went the wrong way to the animal hospital, now-me knows what is up and left 15 minutes early to accommodate it.
