Calling Seth a Monero shitcoiner is peak ignorance on both Seth and Monero. You have strong allies that you keep distanced while you invite BlackRock to the table. Are you sure you are heading for the right direction?

We don't invite Blackrock. We make fun of them together with some compromised Core devs. But Bitcoin is Freedom Money. That means that Bitcoin never refuses an account to anyone. That means Bitcoin is for everyone. Even the enemies.

Monero kicked BlackRock and all the other CEX from using it, because it is so badass that state licenced companies are not supposed to even touch it. Resulting in neatly 100% self-custody. That's the revolution I signed up for in 2010. Not some third party power grip reintroducing IOUs, zero privacy and fractional reserves.

So you are essentially saying, Monero is not money. Whos gonna censor / kick next? The Police? A random hater next?

Monero is the money I currently use the most. Besides that I don't really know what money is or means. It's a rather complex and esoteric topic me thinks. But if I would describe it it would be something along the lines of invisible, eternally valuable and exchangeable without friction between dimensions only controllable through my unique consciousness. Sorry, couldn't resist. Neo, all you need to realise is: "There is no money." It's all made up in your mind. They use what their mind can see to bind you to their fantasy world. Like they always did. Invisibility is your shield. Opt out.

Check out my profile or my donation page on my website. I happily accept MWEB Litecoin, Railgun shielded Ethereum and Lightning Bitcoin as decent privacy preserving alternatives to Monero. Its just that when it comes to usage, I can't trust any project nearly to the degree that I can trust Monero to protect my freedom. Many others share my judgement and thus Monero sees real world adoption on levels that pulverise Bitcoin. This is displeasing to me as I'd love for lightning Bitcoin to offer comparable ease of use, security and privacy. It doesn't.

I have no issues with you using Monero. Lightning is easy to use. There are already so many wallets and so many ways to use it. Its not true what you are saying about Bitcoin Lightning. Nostr ZAPs are Lightning and it just works. Also, easy.

Unfortunately mostly custodial with zero privacy. Show me ten random people here on Nostr and I show you that 8/10 use custodial wallets.

Again, a complete BS comment. Can I use Phoenix wallet for Bitcoin Lightning Network payments and self-cusotdy my sats? Yes. Same with BullBitcoin wallet? Yes. Aqua? Yes. Muun? Yes and many many more. Also easy to use. Custodial wallets have their own functions. If people keep small amounts of money in them there is no issue at all. For the people that don't like them there is more than enough options.
