🚩 India Bitcoin Circular Economy 🇮🇳✨ Stop #26 on the Circular Economies Tour 📍 Goa, India 🎯 Youth Education • Merchant Onboarding • Community Building In Goa, a region known for its openness, culture and global connectivity, PlebsTogetherStrong is laying the foundation for a future Bitcoin circular economy through grassroots education and community organizing. Their mission begins with teens and young adults, empowering the next generation with the Mi Primer Bitcoin Diploma and expands outward to families, freelancers, small businesses and the wider Goan community. Their goal is bold: make Bitcoin a real financial option for everyday life in Goa and eventually a model for the whole of India. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 ✅ Launched Cohort 01 of the Mi Primer Bitcoin Diploma with 11 students graduating in May 2024 ✅ Preparing two parallel June cohorts of 20 students each (youth + adults) ✅ Hosting Bitcoin-curious meetups to engage newcomers across Goa ✅ Beginning to onboard freelancers and small businesses into a local circular economy ✅ Planning a Bitcoin farmers market to encourage sats-based local trade ✅ Sharing teaching methodology and materials with other aspiring Bitcoin educators ✅ Building community across X, Instagram, Telegram and Nostr ✅ Self-funded to date, demonstrating commitment and early proof of work 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 • Provide continuous, free or low-cost Bitcoin education for teens, parents, professionals and retirees • Onboard local merchants to enable sats-based spending for everyday needs • Build a Bitcoin farmers market as an early circular economy prototype • Create a dedicated community space for meetups, hardware workshops and youth activities • Collaborate with schools and government bodies to bring Bitcoin education into statewide curriculum • Support returning diaspora and remittance flows by enabling families to spend sats directly • Develop a replicable “Swiss-army-knife” community model that can scale across India • Position Goa as a leading hub for Bitcoin culture, tourism and innovation PlebsTogetherStrong is showing how Bitcoin education can spark a broader movement, one that empowers youth, supports families, strengthens local business and creates new economic possibilities for an entire region.
