Thank you. And Thank you @dustygrooves . In almost 40 years of thinking, I can never reconcile the idea that God chose a particular time of history to send us his Son Christ. I can never accept that this physical form worthy of a much more complex creator… If you share your knowledge and wisdom with me it will not go on deaf ears as my only purpose for being here is to learn from each of you…
Here’s a small example, but there are hundreds like this, and makes you wonder if it all has a dual meaning both metaphor and literal: Christ was crucified at Golgotha aka β€œThe Place of The Skull”. What is this skull? Does it symbolize death? Of course it does. But right there in the cliffside is a rock formation that looks just like a skull. It’s uncanny. That was my first aha moment. β€œand he went out, bearing his own cross, to the place called The Place of a Skull, which in Aramaic is called Golgotha.” ‭‭John‬ ‭19‬:‭17‬ ‭ESV‬‬ image
Wow.. incredible.. never knew this. β€œFor this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it up again.” I am about to read the whole chapter but it will take me days to google and learn its meanings.. Will comeback to comment more and ask questions.. Answer if you don’t mind and have the time, but I will understand if you don’t. I appreciate you sharing such metaphor with me.. it is in fact amazing..!! ✌🏼
