Yes, this is the point, as Plebs leverages multiple Blossom hosts to store the videos/images. This creates censorship-resistance. Where even if Plebs were somehow legally compelled to hide showing a video, itβs hosted/viewable elsewhere across Nostr π
Blossom is great but i don't think it's so simple like image hosting as videos can be thousands times bigger in size. This won't be a problem for short videos but for long ones it could reach gigabytes and this will become problematic for long-term storage (unless each user self-host anything of course)
Plebs supports filesizes up to 2GB and it then compresses on the client-side to a maximum filesize of 100MB. This allows for larger videos to be handled, despite the limitations of Blossom's hash generation for larger files.
