When I lost everything, I tried cooking, making crafts, and many other things.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t turn them into products.
Then the soil reminded me of gardening.
At first, I bought some flowers and seeds, but something felt wrong as a business.
Next, I decided to sow vegetable seeds.

I rent a 25-square-meter field and worked the soil with a hoe every day for two weeks.
I needed to make raised beds because the soil was in poor, clay-like condition.
Raised beds improve drainage.
Raised beds were good for vegetables, but the row layout wasn’t efficient. It’s a 2.5 × 10 m field. I made 10 beds, each 1 m wide, which created 9 paths. It didn’t work well. If I had made more rows and wider beds, I would have needed to sow more seeds.
