It'll be interesting to explore how this could be useful for economies like #[2]
More specifically, how to view products and services within a geographic area and where shipping could be local pickup (e.g. resturants and food). Perhaps with the use of this draft NIP:

Proposal for a new nostr kind that stores GeoJSON data as the content. This kind, along with the existing p and e tag model, would make notes spati...
Also, I am assuming that when there is an improved NIP-04 spec implemented, this spec will be updated to use that instead.

How fucking cool is this!?

It blows my mind the fact that I can just run a local nostr market client (not even need to go on a domain/dns URL) and just add a bunch of pubkeys from merchants and start shopping.
No http traffic whatsoever !
Fucking amazing!
But we canβt. Funny how that works.
it is magical
π€― should add this qoute to your guide.
So, we could use this for #[2] merchants to sell 'excess' BTC for fiat using a reputation based system, putting a BTC exchange on every street corner?
There's no such thing as "excess" BTC.
Those merchants better start convincing their suppliers to accept BTC and/or pay their employees in BTC.
This is how you start Bitcoin circular economy, not by selling back your BTC for fiat.
Let's finish once and for all with fiat.
That's why I air quoted it.
Merchants need to make their own decisions.
#[1]β how do we share the link for the product for sale to people?
Hi Ben. Is there any kind of extra config, or a guide on how to use the market extension? I've set up nostr client, and I've set up a stall, and test product, added relays and merchants to the client side, but cannot see any products. lnbits 10.9 nostr market 0.28
