It is extremely important that a platform exists that allows anybody to express any idea they wish to, in order to preserve free speech. And for anybody who wants to listen to be able to plug into that content and listen.
It is not necessary that anybody actually do so. Plenty of people will never say a word. In fact, that is also true of twitter. Many people watch twitter and never post. We cannot count how many people are watching nostr but have never even generated a keypair.
IMHO nostr adoption isn't important. I don't care how many people come to nostr. If people want to join bluesky or post or mastodon, they are free. I don't care.
But I do care about nostr awareness. I want the world to know that there is a place that supports free speech, puts users in control, is open sourced and has many implementations, and is difficult to shut down due to being decentralized. Whether people come over here is up to them.

The world will come when the time is right. User count is not as important as building the foundation for generations to come. #Bitcoin followed this path, #Nostr should too.
Welllllll said. Totally agree.

In all the years of my business , the most customers that weโve onboarded havenโt come from any marketing campaigns , we did those for name branding mostly it turned out , it was word of mouth and referrals that have kept us going all this time , especially the last 3-4 years. Thereโs good work being done by good people and the most sensible value proposition with #nostr (everyone is welcome) ,, in my opinion itโs the elite for the individual and for all at the same time,, no one can be in control of the results of their work , only what work they do,, and mostly itโs not the work itโs self thatโs done as much as why the work is being done that matters for the results. #grownostr
