Yes
I tried month ago, it didn't work. I just use Bluetooth. But it would be nice if it works...
Works fine with me.
Yes, works just fine.
Great. Good to know for end of paper Bitcoin summer when I finally might buy car with this kind of tech :D.
Yes, you need to make some tweaks in the settings, but then it works as with stock
I use gOS, but haven't tried ANDROID auto with it. Y'all running google play for it to work?
Yep, works. You need to install sandboxed Google Play. You can activate Android Auto in the sandboxedd GP menu. Requires google maps and some permissions.
By the way cars those days are phones over wheels, we must find a way to crack it with consistency
Works great. Just Remember to lock the bootloader before setting up everything π
Highly recommend. A fantastic experience. Google services available in a sandboxes way if you really need them, non+existant if you don't. There is no second best mobile os
Works fine, you just needs to pull out the phone every time to unlock it in order to start Auto.
Organic Maps also has a navigation feature, and works offline
I do not use Android Auto and have always wondered why all the hype about it. I do connect GOS phone to car for audio and handsfree Signal calling, this is good enough for me.
For navigation and maps I prefer an old-school Garmin GPS unit.
I never use Play Services or Location Services on phone for anything ever.
The nice thing would be to have maps on the big screen in the car instead of the phone display only.
Agree, don't like using phone for maps while driving, hence Garmin GPS unit as stated.
