When you ground yourself around electricity (using wall socket) Two things happen: Your body becomes a conduit for the AC electricity to go to the ground and at the same time, you’re still getting some benefit from the Earth’s DC energy. But let’s be real, it’s not natural to have AC electricity running through us. All the videos I have seen that are selling Earthing mats use a body voltage meter. They get a reading then touch the ground pad and the reading goes down, often to zero. They then claim the ground pad removes the nnEMF field. NOT TRUE. The field remains and now YOU are part of the circuit, an AC circuit. You can however still use an earthing mat/sheet if it is grounded directly using a copper rod & a wire. Just make sure there's no power lines beneath the ground.
