I wish I had been more informed years ago when I refused a whole set of vaccines (11) which eventually led to my firing from my job. The guy chewing me out over my decision was harping on #3 about how I was putting everybody at risk by not being vaccinated. I should have asked him that if the vaccines work then why does my lack of vaccination present issues to the rest of the team.
Now that I’m 15 years removed from that situation, it’s easy to say I should have done this, that, and the other, but the reality is I knew I was probably going to lose my job and I was just trying to not rock the boat any more than I already had in an attempt to save my job.
One thing is for sure, I’m super skeptical of vaccines and will likely never take another vaccine in my life. The COVID debacle only reaffirmed this for me.
