Chipotle has gone to shit. I havenβt been in maybe a year or more, and just walked in during the peak of dinner time and itβs dead empty (no customers). This location used to be packed always. The tables are all filthy. Bathrooms donβt have toilet paper. And it cost $45 for 2 burrito bowls and 2 kids meals. Sad.

Chipotle hasnβt been good in almost a decade.
Tbh I donβt really notice a difference
I remember the first time I went to one and I thought it was fantastic, and for the next two years I probably had Chipotle once a week at minimum. Then they expanded too quickly and their quality took a nosedive. They also put a chain of family-run burrito joints in my area completely out of business during that same time period.
Yes I used to get it like 5 times a week π
The $5 burrito once existed. I remember when.
Burritos are now $10+ and fluffed with rice and beans. OG burritos are carne asada, guac, cabbage, + salsa. Squirt on some lemon then drink the burrito juice at the end as a reward.
And you could probably make something similar at home for way less but sometimes you just want to go out and have dinner done for you.
i tried that a few months ago too, it was a total rip off.. ..zero plans to return
Seriously, it's a far cry from the glory days. Panera too while we're at it
I remember the Chipotle days
All restaurants have gone to shit, none make food any better than I can make at home, and even the cheapest crap is the cost of a weeks groceries.
Facts They differently fail off
Yeah man. My wife got a shake shack burger last week and it was soaked in cleaning solution.
Chipotle peaked in 2016 when they did their wild ass rewards program. Free bowls with whatever you wanted (5x meat) and catering if you maxed it out
Rice all crunchy n dry, rotten Fukin guacamole, rotten pico last time I was there...
Never again
Support your local *bertoβs taco shop.
Itβs always packed near us but they hardly fill up the bowls now. Rip off
Yes I noticed the serving was smaller, and I ordered guac and it was like half the amount they used to give.
I tell them to top up the guac every time lol. So annoying but my wife loves it
Overseasoned, stale, cafeteria βMexicanβ food
Definitely heavy seasoning π I still love it though. Just hate that the restaurant has gone downhill so much.
