India has ordered smartphone makers to pre-install the government's Sanchar Saathi app.
The app is available for Android and iOS and allows users to report fraud and spam.

@npub1zj46...fyjh when governments mandate things, especially authoritarian governments, you know it's not being done in the public interest. If the app were truly a good thing, people would install and use it voluntarily.
