The unintended consequences of the clinically ignorant.
Technocracy is like this. There are these unelected “experts” who get to say, and then the elected (in fraudulent elections) lawmakers make it a law. And then, people suffer and the parasite class gets richer.
I would wager these experts are entirely fictional for the most part
