And continuing with what is happening with Bitcoin. The proposed BIP 444/110 fork is a fucking mess. Please stay calm and understand the seriousness of the matter. Bitcoin Core has been captured by state agents. It is more than evident that what they are trying to do is change the nature of Bitcoin and sell it to you as woke moralism so that you comply, censorship, and all that crap and words that play on your feelings. On the other hand, the solution offered is fucking garbage. Given the situation, what we need is a fully ossified client and to educate people to use this client and not others, to promote the decentralization of mining and to penalize bad actors. This is obviously no guarantee of success, since Bitcoin's consensus is based on the sum of the actions of all actors, and if the majority of actors are stupid, which is very common in human beings, then Bitcoin has little future. Bitcoin is more fragile than people think. A stupid person cannot change gold, cannot change its atoms, cannot change physics, but Bitcoin is software, and software can be changed. Do not fall into complacency and be demanding.

The only true defense of bitcoin are by those who recieve it. People must understand that when they accept bitcoin, it must be validated with software that enforces the rules they agree to. If they don't agree with the rules of the software, they are recieving a counterfeit UTXO. These adversarial BIPs like 444 and 111 are indeed a slippery slope, but as Scott Adams has said for decades, "The slippery slope is an illusion." That's not to say one should be complacent, but your recognition of a potential trend is not evidence that trend will manifest. If you are concerned about a trend, separate the evidence from the cause in your arguments; because it's the cause that worries you, not merely the potential trend. Facts: * Authority flows upward from the validating node, not downward from any institution. * Corruption enters only when receivers cease being adversarial and begin being trusting. * The system’s incorruptibility is not static; it is actively maintained through verification. Danger: Human tendencies toward convenience, regulatory deference, or institutional trust may incentivize adoption of compromising mechanisms. Safeguard: Sovereignty remains where obedience is directed. The node is the locus of judgment. Every acceptance by a human is a volitional and covenantal act.
We can't ossify the client when everyone needs to upgrade to the post-quantum soft fork in a few years. Stop making mountains of molehills. Nothing Core is doing is changing what is possible, only what is by default permitted and acceptable if you run their software. Nothing Core is doing threatens anyone. If national regulators are going to give you any trouble, then your problem is with those regulators and your personal OPSEC practices, not Bitcoin or Core. Core isn't the government of Bitcoin. Nothing they do speaks for Bitcoin nor does anything they do bring any additional risks to users of Bitcoin. Run what you want, but lets stop calling people names and hyping up conspiracy. There's no gain to 'controlling' Core. These people have different ideas and we should accept that. You're acting like the cancel culture woke assholes who think they know best and anyone who disagrees is a racist and a secret nazi or some shit. Give it a fucking rest.
