yuk. Getting rid of the all those extraneous zeros is why I prefer denominating in sats to begin with. Trying to please everyone by throwing every preferred ingredient into the pot is often just *not* The Way.

That solves it for a certain kind of web form, but what about when just the amount alone is being shown somewhere? B 2100 sats ? ...always with both? that's unworkable. when you attach one symbol or another to the number, it tells you what decimal paradigm you're in. "$1" on its own == "100¢" on its own. "$0.50" == "50¢" I maintain:
