What made Twitter such a dark place was (among other things) how the boost feature worked and how easy and tempting it was to boost the kind of content which made people maximally angry.
I think we should stay mindful not to repeat this on Nostr. If I understand correctly, the $boost feature might incentivice nostriches to boost content without actually agreeing with it at all. The deal is to be included in a payout via lightning prism and in return you parrot what a person with large follower count posts. Am I missing something here?
