The swimming pool on the Titanic is not filled with water in the way it was originally designed, but the space where it once was is now filled with seawater.
The Titanic sank on April 15, 1912, and has been resting on the ocean floor at a depth of about 12,500 feet (3,800 meters) since then.
As a result, the entire ship, including the area where the swimming pool was located, is submerged and filled with cold ocean water, marine debris, and sediment.
While the pool's structure may still be partially intact due to being behind a watertight bulkhead
, it has undergone significant deterioration from corrosion and the activity of iron-eating bacteria over more than a century.
The distinction between the pool and the surrounding ocean has blurred, and the original pool is no longer functional or distinguishable as a separate body of water.
Therefore, although the space is filled with water, it is not a contained, functional swimming pool but rather part of the wreck filled with deep-sea seawater.
