⚡️🗞️ MORE - Did you know that Wikipedia's parent organization Wikimedia grew their total assets from $266 Million USD to $310 Million USD over the last year?
This is thanks, in part, to the fact that financial contributions to Wikimedia grew significantly between 2024 and 2025.
From $168 Million up to $184 Million.
Also worth noting that the actual "Internet Hosting" of Wikipedia in 2025... cost the Wikimedia Foundation $3.4 Million.
The bulk of the money is spent on "Awards and Grants", "Professional Services", "Travel Expenses", and other such expenditures.
This is according to their most recent financial report (signed by auditors 2 months ago, on September 30th, 2025).
