Canadian crypto influencer Kevin Mirshahi was murdered last year, but we didn't have confirmation on the motivation until just now. Right, that makes sense. It's hard to figure out where to draw the line on a "public" persona, both IRL and online. I know people are throwing out Bitcoin T-shirts for this reason... I respect the motivation of self-preservation, but at the same time, growth requires some "marketing", and who's going to do that? I guess like everything more education is the solution, to get to point where attackers would plausibly assume that large Hodlers would have decent multi-sig setups...
