TG is terrible, don't know why ppl still use it for support.

It's funny to read the comments under this post saying that "Telegram is bad". Yes, Telegram is proprietary crap, but this naive person could have been scammed anywhere else. He was scammed on Telegram because he doesn't know how to use Telegram. Also, if the administrators of this chat knew how to use Telegram, they could make life more difficult for scammers. I've been using Telegram for about 10 years, I'm in several dozen chats, including support chats for various services, and I've never been deceived in 10 years.
