the last 15-20% of initial block download is just brutally slow now, huh?
75% ~12 hours
85% ~17 hours
90% - 22 hours
- 8 cores (ryzen 5900x)
- 16 gb ram (ddr4 3600mhz)
- pcie gen4 nvme ssd
was hoping to complete in <24 hours. maybe ill give it more cpu next time

I think that’s plenty of cpu. Trying to sync the whole chain in less than 24 hours is ambitious imo.
I'm used to about 96hrs for a full reindex. Lots of CPU cycles to verify all those transactions
