Me: (Pulling out an overdue book from my desk drawer) "Oh no! The library has already closed for the weekend!"
Narrator: (Muttering in a very serious tone, while holding up a stack of books and flipping through them with careless ease) Oh dear. This isn't good.
Me: (Pointing to one particular book on top of my desk) "And this is the one that I have been struggling with for days now."
Narrator: (Without breaking
