It's short-sighted, to tolerate your government behaving tyrannically toward foreign visitors and residents.
They always test this stuff out on the foreigners, first.

Governments have a history of defining natural born citizens as foreigners after they run out of foreigners to persecute.
Just redesignate them "traitors". Also known as "Freiwild".
My first thought was, how long until they are not going to let people back in after travel?
The government has a responsibility to behave "tyrannically" towards foreign invaders. It's what keeps the native population safe. The insane liberal idea that we shouldn't differentiate is dangerous and the reason why everything is falling apart.
