That’s right! The team have delivered and starting today you can sell tickets and monetize your Events & Experiences directly IN SATS! Because it goes where Stripe and PayPal can’t go, Satlantis is the first truly global Events App, delivering effortless monetization and instant payouts to a worldwide audience.
I spent most of November in El Salvador, where Adopting Bitcoin decided to trust Satlantis and partnered with us to host their satellite events – the first major live test of our new Bitcoin ticketing system!
Here’s how we helped Bitcoin Month in El Salvador become a success story 🧡
To start with, we provided the conference with a tailored Calendar to make it easy for everyone to know what was on around the main event:
Anyone can create their own Calendars – think of them as your personal, curated collection of Events & Experiences. You can subscribe to them to make sure you never miss out, they’re easily shareable, and on top of that they look great.
Next, The Bitcoin Office of El Salvador did us the great honor of using Satlantis for their Bitcoin Histórico Discussion! More than 50 people came to learn and talk about the government-led conference, and our friends Max and Stacy liked the app so much that they’ve decided to use it for their events going forward!
Couldn’t ask for higher-signal feedback.
But honestly, the real highlight of Bitcoin Month was the Adopting Bitcoin 2025 Official Afterparty. Not only was it the first major live test of our new Bitcoin ticketing feature, it was a total success for a Bitcoin-only party! Here’s a quick overview:
→ 112 tickets (of which 69 were paid) were sold, including two different tiers each with its own price.
→ Check-in was very smooth, with only one person (me! 😉) taking care of it at the door. All it takes is switching a toggle or scanning the QR code. Plus hosts have full control when it comes to changing ticket types and attendee status.
→ Each RSVP becomes a Nostr user: smoothest onboarding for everyone. Hosts can quickly access all relevant guest information.
But don’t take just our word for it! Here’s some feedback from the host, Kiki 🌺:
“We used Satlantis to ticket the afterparty for Adopting Bitcoin 2025 in El Salvador. Jordi was extremely helpful in walking us through the process of set up, and very hands on, there to support us at every step including at the door! We found the process to be smooth, and especially appreciated the ability to offer multiple ticket options (in our case, this was preferred pricing for our conference attendees vs general admission pricing).” There’s nothing like real user feedback and a happy customer! 🥳 Parties: The official Afterparty above was far from the only party during Bitcoin Month! The Standard Afterparty also used Satlantis, and our friends from BitTasker even offered a free drink to everyone who registered on Satlantis!
💸 Fundraisers: This is a very cool use case for our new Bitcoin-native ticketing. Two prominent Bitcoiners leveraged the new Satlantis to raise funds in sats: OG Curtis Green, former manager of the Silk Road, to fund his legal defence and Miss Bitcoin, who alongside Ryan Matta used the occasion of her birthday bash to raise funds for rescued girls. 🎟️ Movie screenings: Satlantis is the smoothest and coolest way to support Bitcoin docu directors and creators. Catch this screening of the Dirtycoin documentary in Barcelona this December!
🗽 Guided Tours & other experiences: The Freedom Tour 2025, a Bitcoin-meets-motorcycles curated tour, pioneered this category during Bitcoin Month!
