Anyone saying the US has no culture is insane. Look at effectively any area: news/media, military & violence, money, political power. They have the most pervasive, viral, and aggressively entrenched ideology of any modern country, and it's not at all close.

a lot of people focus on big showy things like buildings and inventions, or surface level things like music and food. but there's other things too, like attitudes towards death, parenting, or sexual morals. for example, some cultures do a better job at responding harshly to rape and sexual assault, and in other cultures nobody cares about the woman who gets groped on the bus or worse. people living in white areas who say "white people have no culture" may not discover what they are taking for granted until it's been taken away from them.
