@npub18jv4...w00x They sometimes misfire with a null result, but the Metrix readers are PCR-level accurate for positive and negative tests with a swab and a half hour wait time for the gadget to give you an answer. Since they're mollecular-level (rather than antibody) they pick up on infection days earlier.

My experience with these is limited. They may be good but I donāt trust anything I canāt verify when it comes to IAQ (and other stuff).
IEPs indoor environmental professionals aka industrial hygienists do tape lift testing, swab tests, air cassettes via air pump and material testing if needed.
My go to has always been call a professional if itās justified (possibly a sensitivity). Sensitivity to IAQ issues are a real thing (so donāt make that mistake š
).
A lab report gives an industrial hygienist something to build a scope of work for. From there I would take their scope and complete the work, and if the client wanted to get a PRV (post remediation verification) we would make sure the job is cleaned exactly to spec. PRV clearance testing is at the ownerās expense so, itās not cheap to get all the work done and clear the job.
My view has always been: let the client know the costs up front of different ways to approach, and save money on testing to go toward remediation if itās known that will be needed. Knowing that up front helped them decide which way was best for them to proceed.
Future prevention was my favorite conversation. ā An ounce of preventionā, per se. Thatās another conversation. For another day

URGENT CALL TO ACTION šļø
The IOC could be changing its mind on FULL exclusion of males in womenās Olympic sports, as @sharrond62
is warning below.
Between the media rumour of #IOC course correction (now; late 2025) and the meeting where the #IOC *actually* decides on the policy (early 2026) we women had better speak up loudly.
NOW is the time to demand FEMALE-ONLY eligibility in womenās Olympics competition across ALL sports.
Meaning cheek swab screen across the board with no XY (active SRY) allowed, irrespective of congenital disorders.
Women deserve safety and fairness in their sports!
No sports federation should be given a pass.
Hereās the letter sent to the #IOC by the @ICFSport
group last year at this time (2024).
This type of message needs to be updated to current president Kirsty Coventry.

A nearly six-decade-old cold case involving a Calgary woman who went missing and was murdered in Las Vegas has finally brought a measure of closure to her family.
Anna Sylvia Just, who was 29 when she was last seen, was identified through a DNA swab provided by her sister, who resides in Calgary.
āThe fact when we first reached out to collect her DNA, maybe some renewed hope from herself,ā said Staff Sergeant Sean Gregson with the Calgary Police Service.
āSheās 97 years old right now. I canāt imagine the kind of shock that would come after this long.ā
Las Vegas Metro police confirmed Just was killed due to a money dispute with individuals connected to organized crime.
āAnna was wanting her money back, basically. And, things went south from there,ā said homicide detective with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, Jarrod Grimmett.

Rep. Nancy Mace's unhinged ranting about an airport is nearing its third week, with the South Carolina Republican now alleging that she was the target of a conspiracy by airport staff to target her for extra surveillance. For days, Mace has been seeking revenge on staff at the Charleston International Airport, in South Carolina, after an embarrassing news report dropped on Halloween about how she allegedly berated law enforcement officers and Transportation Security Administration staffers at the facility over an allegedly delayed security escort. After an incident report filed by the officers was publicized, Mace threatened to file a lawsuit against the airport and others for defamation. But on Tuesday, she posted a new deranged conspiracy theory to her congressional website, claiming that she was "subjected to inappropriate surveillance and targeting by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and Charleston International Airport security personnel (CHS)" and called for staff at the airport "to come forward with information" about her supposed mistreatment. Republican Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina, shown in February 2024. "I was allegedly 'randomly selected' by TSA and the Charleston Airport for extra surveillance. What are the odds? It gets betterāI've been told I'm the ONLY elected official who got this special treatment. Totally random, I'm sure," Mace wrote in a post on X late Tuesday night, along with an image of herself with the text "ESTABLISHMENT ENEMY #1" superimposed over it. "To whoever greenlit this amateur-hour intimidation tactic: Did you think I'd be scared? Or flattered? Go ahead and make my day. Waste your time, waste taxpayer money, waste whatever credibility you had left,ā she continued. āHOLD THE LINE." I, too, was randomly selected for extra TSA screening on Saturday when my family and I traveled home from Florida. I do not think I was the subject of a conspiracy. Rather, I was randomly selected by the TSA staffers who are currently not being paid because the government remains shut down. Like a normal person, I allowed them to swab my hands and went about my travel day. But not Mace. She instead continued to harass airport staff, saying in posts on X that her selection for additional screening at the airport "is the stuff of the DEEP STATE and BIG BROTHER," and that her lawsuit against the airport "may bring South Carolina's Attorney General down in flames with it, and several others." Mace's bizarre, one-sided fight with an airport has members of her own party flummoxed. South Carolina Sens. Tim Scott and Lindsey Graham, both Republicans, have individually praised airport staff and criticized Mace's outbursts. "It is never acceptable to berate police officers, airport staff, and TSA agents who are simply doing their jobs, nor is it becoming of a Member of Congress to use such vulgar language when dealing with constituents," Scott wrote in a Facebook post. "Not only are these officers sworn to protect us, but we also take an oath to represent them. We work for them, not vice versa." āI concur with [Scottās] statement when it comes to the men and women who provide security at the Charleston International Airport,ā Graham wrote in a post on X. The editorial board of The Post and Courier, which is based in Charleston, also flamed Mace for her abhorrent behavior. Republican Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina, shown in June. The editorial board wrote: "Rep. Mace's foul language and her attitude toward security and other airport staff were out of bounds. Most people would have apologized after such an embarrassing display, perhaps explaining that they were understandably angry or even frightened and said things they now regret. Not Nancy Mace. Nancy Mace has built her public persona around using socially unacceptable language. If I cursed at these underlings, she told a news conference last week, I should have cursed more." Even right-wing media personalities are raising questions about Mace's mental health in the wake of her public meltdowns. āThereās something wrong with Nancy Mace. And Iām not a fan of hers, and itās increasingly because sheās not mentally well, and itās really clear sheās not mentally well, and I donāt know if she has friends who can do an intervention with her, but Nancy Mace needs a real intervention, right-wing radio host Erick Erickson said on his program. Mace, for her part, is running for governor in South Carolina. She faces a crowded primary for the GOP nomination against fellow Rep. Ralph Norman, Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette, and state Attorney General Alan Wilson. A recent poll shows Mace and Evette in a statistical tie, though it was conducted before the airport brouhaha. Erickson said he doesnāt think Mace will win the primary, and that he worries for her if she loses. āSheās using her privilege in Congress to smear other people to advance her own career, which, in and of itself, is bad, but then her reactions to the blowback out of Congress isāIām really worried about her mental well-being,ā Erickson added. āThatās not the behavior of a normal person.ā

A total of 12 SARS-CoV-2 positive specimens having a Ct <30 for the E gene were included in the study. Of these, eight samples were from positive cases of Italian tourists and their contacts in New Delhi. The rest of the specimens were from four positive cases at Agra, Uttar Pradesh, and the close contact cases of an infected Delhi-based individual who returned from Italy.

I swatched several inks over the weekend so I could try out new things: New stamps, Hocoro ink bladder, and the Midori "swatch cards" I made by cutting up sheets and stamping them. Also tried using a swab in addition to the glass dip pen for the main swatch.
This sample of Endless Alchemy Magic Peach Fuzz was free from JetPens and I'm glad I tried the sample because I didn't care for it. Far too pale and not a color I like, subtle shimmer is nice though.

Crypto is for all. [ including those you may not like ]
"Everyday people" are too brainwashed by their state to lift their heads for a couple of minutes and think about what is happening around them.
And even if one of them raises their head, crypto is now only available with a KYC/AML/source-of-funds + a swab from the ass, so that the owner does not let their slave go far.
And then the slave will either make a slight effort to learn something new (to bypass the "bans" from the state), or bow his head again to continue working for his master.
Enjoy you democracy. š

My vagina feels disgusting to me because of my post op problemsā¦is what Iām experiencing normal??
"Iām 3.5 years post op penile inversion. I kind of stopped dilating after around 5 months because I just got depressed and it hurt still. Iāve had periods since where Iāve dilated but never really got anywhere. I still canāt have penetrative sex.
In the period where Iām not dilating, my vagina begins to stink and it gets filled with all this hard yellowish discharge which comes out on my dilators when I do dilate. If I dilate more regularly this discharge seems to go away a bit.
My GP did a swab on me and I had heavy growth of staphylococcus aureus down there. I was given antibiotics but Iām still having the same issue. I get so paranoid about having a fistula but idk if this means anything like that.
Does anyone have any advice?? Iām tired of my vagina not feeling like a sex organ and just feeling gross to me :( I want to start dilating again but itās hard when I feel like my vagina is dirty and contaminated."

the main things that iām currently struggling with are pushing really hard on the toilet (to the point that iāve developed painful haemorrhoids) because iām worried that if i donāt completely get everything out then something may leak out later on.
i also really struggle to go for a wee because whenever i sit down on the toilet i feel like iām gonna poop as well so i end up having to wipe my butt even when iāve only had a wee.
the final thing iām struggling with is excessive wiping and wiping deep into my butt. i literally stick my finger up there because otherwise i feel like iām not clean enough. i then use at least a whole roll of toilet paper. iām wondering how deep is it normal to wipe?? because i feel like the reason iām still getting poop on the paper is because i wipe so deep (my poops are usually pretty good and leave not a lot to wipe, yet it still takes me over half an hour).
this post probably seems a bit chaotic but iām really wanting to help myself at the moment so any advice would be really amazing!! the main thing iām trying to do is ERP type stuff btw. thanks :)"

Horseradish | Lost Remedies
Eucalyptus Steam ā Boil a pot of water and add a few drops of eucalyptus oil. Drape a towel over your head and inhale the steam for relief from nasal congestion.
Horseradish ā Moisturize your forehead and under-nose area. About fifteen minutes later, wrap two to three teaspoons of grated horseradish in a soft cloth or cheesecloth and apply to the base of your nose or forehead until you feel a light burning sensation. Remove.
Vitamin C ā Squeeze the juice from half of a lemon into a cup. Drop the peel and remaining pulp into the cup as well. Add boiling water and a teaspoon of honey. Breathe in the steam as you stir and then sip slowly after it cools.
Cough and Sore Throat
Honey Tea | Lost Remedies
Nix the supermarket cough drops and try one of these remedies instead.
Basil ā Chewing on some fresh basil leaves can relieve a dry cough.
Gargle ā Make a simple but effective mouthwash of salt and warm water or freshly squeezed lemon juice and warm water. Gargle and repeat as often as needed.
Honey Tea ā Mix two teaspoons of honey with warm water or with an herbal tea of your choice. Sip twice a day. (Not for children under 12 months.)
Licorice Root Tea ā Boil a piece of licorice root in water for a few minutes, then strain and drink to soothe a sore throat and calm a cough.
Nutshell Tea ā Place five ounces of nut shells in a teapot, add water, and boil. Sip slowly to soothe your throat.
Pine Needle Tea ā Here's how to make it:
Rinse one cup of needles before finely chopping them.
Next, place a half cup plus two tablespoons of water, two tablespoons of corn syrup, and a pinch of salt to a boil in a saucepan.
Whisk ingredients together and then boil for one minute without stirring.
Remove the pan from the heat, add the chopped needles, and steep the mixture for two to three hours.
Take two teaspoons of the resulting syrup to reduce cough and sore throat.
Pine Syrup ā Try two teaspoons of pine syrup to ease a cough and a sore throat.
Cuts, Scrapes and Bruises
Banana Peels | Lost Remedies
Here are a few first aid tips that use items you probably have on hand in your home.
Aloe Vera, Chamomile Tea, or Honey ā Apply directly to the area.
Banana Peels ā For minor cuts and scratches, wash the area and then rub gently with the inside of a banana peel.
Bread & Apple Cider Vinegar ā To help heal a bruise, rub the area with bread that has been soaked in apple cider vinegar.
Turmeric Paste ā Mix turmeric powder with a little water to create a paste. Apply it to the wound to promote healing and prevent infection.
Fever
