Can any #DungeonsAndDragons fans recommend 5e resources for games which are unicorns and fairies and and rainbows and stuff like that? It doesn't have to be non-combat or whatever, but just stuff with those more fluffy and magical creatures and vibe. A Last Unicorn D&D module would make my day! #DND #DND5e
I took up & swiftly had to stop #running earlier this year. I loved it but I was getting injured consistently no matter what I did. So I quit & went back to walking & being jealous every time someone ran past me on my walk. Having (mostly) healed all the injuries that had been caused by running through physio & just not running for several months, I put on my running trainers to go for a walk one day, instead of my usual ones & the pain from those injuries started up again. 1/5 ๐Ÿงต. image
I recently discovered this amazing resource on how to write alt text thanks to Mastodon! It's a great 101 explainer of what it is and how to write it, and even has a photo of a capybara with tips on it to help! Check it out here: #Accessibility #DEI #A11y image
omg, hello! I am on toot.wales from my laptop because now it lets me again. Hooray!
Let's talk about accessibility, asshattery and the Fediverse. When I asked why people don't use the Fediverse, a few people mentioned they'd had bad experiences here because they hadn't included alt-text or didn't understand the culture and made a social faux pas. There is a strong desire to protect this space where Queer and disabled folks are prioritised, that's really great. Unfortunately this can, IMO, result in an attack first ask questions later response.
