my controversial view is that Holocaustianity is not really different from Christianity and that the original religion is just the older version of the same thing. they both derive sanctity and justifications for political power from suffering and inculcate guilt as a means of control. they were both started by that group and exist to legitimise them in various ways. people say there is no salvation in Holocaustianity but that isn't true, you become a "righteous among nations" by serving them. if Constantine hadn't used it as a populist political platform then it never would've spread to Europe. in my darker moments I think about the birds who resist the cuckoo's advances being mauled to death and the resulting symbiotic adaptation that arises when one co-operates with something trying to parasitise you and the advantage that confers over strategies that try to fully resist outright. Conservatism has a similar vibe to it, here is your set role, you exist in a dynamic with us, and you can mentally justify it any way you want, but at the end of the day we're giving you the spotlight, and you're eating the pinfall
