Countdown to my birthday…
Do good anyway.
Good people do good things. ✨
Story Time! On Sunday, I wanted to attend church again with the pope. But it rained and I decided not to go. Nevertheless, last night, I decided to return to St. Peters Square to pray. I pray a lot. It keeps me sane. Otherwise, the ways of the world will drive you crazy if you let it. I was praying for myself and other people. Then the temperature started to drop. I was shivering but I wasn’t leaving until I finished my conversations with God. We had a lot to discuss. I was standing close to a truck selling souvenirs. I usually don’t buy souvenirs when I travel because I don’t like packing a lot of things. I’m cool with small trinkets. But I typically just take a lot of pictures as a way to keep memories. The guy selling souvenirs walks over to me and asks if I’m cold. I’m like yes. He asked me what I was doing outside. I said praying. He said. “May God bless you” and asked if he could give me something. I said sure. He goes to his truck and gifts me with a beanie to keep my head cold. See image. He gave me a scarf too. It was such a generous moment. I am thankful, grateful, and blessed. The small things. Acts of kindness performed without hesitation. In an instant. He didn’t know me. I didn’t know him. We just met. I love situations where people just “do good”. The beanie didn’t fit over my growing afro. But it still looked cute on me! I love my souvenir. 🇮🇹 image

*taps mic* This is a public service announcement! 📣 BitChat is a decentralized, peer-to-peer messaging application designed for secure, private, and censorship-resistant communication over ephemeral, ad-hoc networks created by @jack Dorsey. It is currently in the early stages to be a ground breaking global app. History in the making. In the early stages, early adopters set the tone. Unfortunately, there are some users )mainly devs from Nostr) on BitChat already creating an unpleasant experience. It’s low level. Some of them aren’t the sharpest tools in the tool shed. Nor the brightest bulbs in the box. Some of y’all are frankly unpleasant. It’s a cesspool. #garbage. 🗑️ It’s mainly male, single, lonely, and horny. Just like Nostr. One of the many reasons why Nostr looks like this is because of the unwelcoming environment. #facts Most of them have never ran a successful business nor scaled a global product. Thus, they lack the business acumen regarding introducing new products to the open market. They just think it’s a middle school science project. As Jack’s #1 cheerleader, I refuse to allow bad apples to spoil the bunch. To the devs and beta testers on BitChat, are you friend or foe? Are you helping or hurting the rollout? Are you contributing to make improvements or are you bringing your low level energy to a highly competitive and empowering product? I’m not suggesting moderation. I’m suggesting that *you* use your God given brain to discuss better topics, make improvements, and/or contribute to permissionless tech. Shape up or ship out. Jack is going to make history. And I don’t want goofy goofballs who are small fish interrupting the flow. Make your own app and destroy *your* product. Don’t come over here with your destructive ways. Since many of you are on Nostr, this message is appropriate to post here. Wishing everyone a blessed day.
