If you go to London, visit a cemetery. You'll see something that England has that America doesn't - mass graves of civilians killed by Nazis. Maybe we'd be a bit less tolerant of the fascists in our government if we did.
On this day in 2004, I spotted Chairman Mao in Stoke Newington while walking around London. I wonder how he got there and if he is still hanging around. Any of you Brits know?

Haven’t been able to hear from my right ear for a week. Went to the doctor on day 1 and she prescribed drops, said my ear canal is swollen completely shut. Pharmacy tells me that my insurance requires pre-approval. Denied. 50% hearing loss and no treatment. Kinda pissed.
The hike across the Roan Highlands from the base of Roan High Knob on the NC/TN border is one of the most beautiful day trips in the Eastern US. It’s a place I’ll revisit for the rest of my life. #hiking #AppalachianTrail
