sure, the marketplace of moderation is the point, and sorta inevitable with atproto, but this is mainly an observation on which specific circumstances will trigger the phase transition from 'this is theoretically possible and a few ppl are experimenting with it' to an adoption by a wider audience
like, high context moderation requires local context, but the current trend im worried about is that there is a group of people whom are less interested in local context and more in just ways to avoid moderation they view as too strict
