"President Donald #Trump has officially delayed imposing higher tariffs on #US #imports, while sending letters to 14 countries including #Japan and #South #Korea detailing the levies they face." It doesn't make sense to me, the US could accelerate its #decline with these tariffs... I don't want that, but it's hard to trust this #strategy. What is your opinion?

Of the 10 current #BRICS countries (2025), 3 are #democracies: #Brazil, #India, and #South #Africa. 7 are #authoritarian or #hybrid regimes: #Russia, #China, #Egypt, #Ethiopia, #Iran, #Saudi #Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (#UEA). In short: Only 3 out of 10 are full democracies. The group is therefore mostly #authoritarian or #semi-democratic. As a #Brazilian I am #ashamed to be part of this group!
