Oh I guess I didn't share my experience at the Bitcoin MENA conference.
All I have to say is that it sucked, like really bad. They had panels dedicated to treasury companies, strategic reserves, influencers (yuck), and stablecoins. Oh and Michael Saylor of course. It was just so boring and tiring and gay.
I mean there were a few interesting ones, but nothing I needed to see in person. I think there was one panel dedicated to something loosely related to bitcoin development.
Besides meeting Muslims (which was really the main motivation for going), I had a great time chatting with The Bitcoin Way folks. They help newbies with custody, utxo management, node set up, and even privacy, and I was surprised to learn that they even help users get on Linux and graphene OS. I really love their vibe and what they do, I might do an affiliate program with
@BitcoinMajlis with them.
It's hard for me to get excited to go to another big bitcoin conference after this, but I'll probably get sucked into going again.
