So, TRON: Ares.
pros:
- NIN
- also, I loved Tron (1982) to bits *even when I watched it as a grownup*
cons:
- the premise seems idiotic
- light cycles turning off the trail? COME ON!
- no frisbee so far
- Jared fucking Leto
I don't know.
Fuck.
I'm still unemployed, and I'm starting to think that I'm not going to find a job with #Django (in Berlin or remote).
After 25yrs as a dev I'm really pretty good - actually I'm good enough that I'm a better tailwind developer after three days' than people who've been using it for a year or more. And that's with me being a backender by trade.
Anybody's hiring? I'm also a good tech lead, I can do devops, etc etc.

I've been using Mint (Cinnamon) exclusively for the last four years or so, and I'm generally completely happy and satisfied and I don't miss Windows at all.
Except for one thing: Windows terminal.
And actually just one part of Windows terminal: being able to give different names to tabs.
I don't want to use a different terminal with AI bullshit or anything, I just want to have different names in tabs.
Anybody?

One of my kids is very much into minerals (for unknown reasons since I'm a rockhound and 7yos routinely hate what dad likes, right? Right?) so we started a "grow your own alum crystal" science project.
Unfortunately the crystals aren't growing as expected, so I had to start looking for information to see if we're doing something wrong.
Having found such information, I can confidently say that DAMN now I'm going to have *yet another* obsession.
For the record, I'm still unemployed - there are a couple things that seem promising but still no offer so they're nothing.
Which means it's again time to #getfedihired (or #fedihire ?) because I'm still a pretty good Django developer, and I've been a developer for long enough to know my way around pretty much everything this side of Rust (eg. doing small contract stuff with Angular right now).
I was also a CTO!
And I live in Berlin, and speak EN/IT and a little DE.
And I'm lovely =)
