How to deal with shitcoiners wanting us to accept their shitcoin in bitcoin island image
Noticed that we got mentioned on the wikipedia page for Boracay! Boracay is one of the main hubs for tourism in the Philippines 1.6 million tourists a year Pretty fun that we got a small mention! Also nice flex "highest density of merchants outside el salvador" 😎 image
Southeast Asia is full of shitcoins. Never seen something as bad. However they are all talk no walk as they haven't onboarded a single merchant really. Nothing to show, it's just a bunch of web 3 conferences they all go to to jerk eachother off. BSV as a present in almost all of the shitcoin conferences lol No PoW. They have a strong fiat mindset there.
Bitcoin is expanding in the Philippines. 11th street bed and breakfast in Bacolod city became the first merchant to accept bitcoin in Bacolod. I'm preparing to send them over a bitcoin sign and everything. We hope we can finally expand to cities such as cebu and manila soon. This one was done by a pleb. #[0]
This one seems like a pretty cool and cheap atm only 850 euros. My goal with the ATM in Boracay wouldn't to process huge amounts just have one to showcase it. Let people try it out. Although not sure if this one can be configured to accept pesos.
Ok plebs I want to ask a quastion about Bitcoin ATMs. 1 how much does it cost. 2 how could you configure it to accept Philippine peso? 3 can you connect to an exchange ? Or how does all that work. I am not really in the know how it technically works. 4 would you guys maybe (depending on the cost) help out crowdfund a bitcoin atm for Bitcoin Island, thinking of one of those small ones that can fit on a desk.
