Am glad the python foundation folks gave the middle finger to Trump. Am less amused (but not surprised) that OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft, Apple, X AI, NVIDIA, et al. didn't each spare $1.5M more on the foundation than some of them already do. It's a rounding error on their debt-shuffling grift.
The hastily crafted (without checking with the product team first πŸ˜‡) GreyNoise IP checker tool β€” β€” was received pretty well at work today, so I spiffied the CSS up a bit and gave it proper opengraph tags and dark mode support. Shld be a friendly way for anyone, including non-cyber folks, to see if their home IP or work NAT IP was found in GreyNoise. Might be a good idea to visit it when you're doingΒ on-site family/friend IT support during the upcoming holiday season.

CISA staffer interrupting a briefing on the F5 situation to crassly blame Democrats for the shutdown means CISA is now officially dead to me. They can all go pound sand, and the entirety of CISA shld be transferred to ICE or RIF'd.
