Today I was up early to paint the fascia boards before the roof goes on at the Basecamp Lodge.

The menu for the Aug 23 cheese experience is done. What does "done" mean?
Well, the basis of the experience is there but since it is a truly farm to table experience, we don't exactly know what will be served beyond this framework.
This is why Chef Kenny is on site as our culinary guide.
This may be one of the best things we've put together at the Holler Homeastead!

Haven't had this cheese in a long rime, but it will be served at the cheese class on Aug 23. This in one of the most commercially produced cheeses that will.be there but it is one of my old favorites!

Somehow my gitmo mug made it into the rotation today. Getting some seeds into the garden this morning, sending the Monday mail, prepping the show, confirming roof replacement details, doing the show and shipping coffee.
The day overflowed.

Did a pour over in the back of the truck yesterday, parked waaaaay away from everything. A bus full of people pulled up right next to us and unloaded. We were quite the specitical making coffee in the bed of the truck!
