A plebbit mod who calls himself Christian let the crowd tear one voice apart for a year... and then smote that voice for defending themselves and called it βprotecting the community.β
Exodus 23:2 says it plain:
"You shall not follow a multitude to do evil, nor pervert justice by siding with the crowd.β
Isaiah 5:23 adds:
"Woe to those who acquit the guilty and deny justice to the innocent.β
Psalm 82:3-4 commands:
βDefend the weak and the fatherless;
uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.β
James 4:17 closes the loop:
"Whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.β
He saw the mob hammer one lamb and said, βThe lamb was the most toxic guy on the serverβ
Ezekiel 34:4 answers:
"You have not strengthened the weak, nor healed the sick,
nor bound up the injured, nor sought the strayed.β
A crowdβs approval isn't righteousness. Numbers never sanctify injustice. Scripture repeats it again and again:
- Micaiah stood alone against four hundred prophets (1 Kings 22)
- Three men faced an empireβs furnace (Daniel 3)
- The apostles defied the council (Acts 5)
Truth rarely travels with the crowd.
Shepherds are judged by the sheep they abandon. When dude let the mob maul one voice to keep the peace, he stopped stop being a shepherd and started being a wolf.
Romans 12:2 still warns:
βDo not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.β
Matthew 7:13-14 still speaks:
"Wide is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it; narrow is the road that leads to life, and few find it.β
So why would dude wear the cross if he has no plans to follow the book? Then again, homie couldn't even keep Ekko's canon straight. Remembering the Christian canon would be a pretty big ask, given that.
Either way, dude pre-ordered his spot in Hell for attacking the vulnerable to appease the crowd. Fake Ekko fan, fake Jesus fan.
