but it isn't clear to me how BIP 444 will get rid of spams when spammers would always be incentivized to move quickly (and will always move quicker) compared to bitcoin's slow soft fork process
enlighten me, how can one share about bitcoin online without getting hyperstimulated with the multitude amounts of noises from
- cryptobros shitting on your coin
- tradfibros shitting on your decentralized nature
- fringe bitcoiners shitting on your 'lack of bitcoin purity'

the relays are so slow, it actually makes you have more attention span and disincentivizes you from being way too online/stimulated
i used to take the slowness of media for granted, but once i started reading books again, it's such a breath of fresh air
btw i recently purchased a kindle, and I'll be honest, though it's not really the best financial decision i could make right now, it's such a joy to have
