- the Bitcoin mining network is at 1 ZH/s (10^21)
- an ASIC chip runs at 1 TH/s (10^12)
- there are 100 million US households (10^8)
Then we need 10^(21-12-8) = 10^1 = only 10 chips per US household to match the current hashrate! π₯
If the world has 1 billion households (conservative by 1/2), thatβs only 1 chip per household!
