Dec 12, 2025 @ 12:43 Good afternoon, family & friendsβ£οΈ Well last night was one of those nights, I slept a few hours, woke up with thoughts swirling in my head which of course meant I couldn't get back to sleep (God also wakes me up when it's time for a talk, too) - we all know how that is right? Pete woke up shortly after, at about 3:30, and came down to the living room. We were both awake with thoughts swirling. Finally we discussed them and turns out they were the same things! Funny how God does that...we'd been thinking and praying about them, anyway, and we came to some conclusions and resolutions, and I was able to get back to sleep. Not so Pete. He usually gets up at about 4:30 anyway so he just stayed up. Anyway I was up again at about 10:30 and we really need to get some groceries in this house so I got showered and dressed before I did my usual morning blogging/tea drinking/PoiBoi playing instead of after, so I am ready to go when I finish up here. The negative is that I didn't get to visit my happy place before noon. Anyway, we're supposed to have wind chill temps WAY below zero for the next few days and the foods we have in the house mostly have to be cooked, we don't have much in the way of things to eat should there be a power failure. (Our appliances are electric.) So we we can't put it off any longer. I also have to make dog food today, though I think it will be a very basic one just for tonight and tomorrow morning, because it's going to be a hard enough day as it is; I can probably make a big pot of it tomorrow then. Anyway, I will see you later and I hope you have a festive Fridayβ£οΈ π πΆ π π π π βοΈ π
