Nov 20, 2025 @ 10:55 (!) Good morning family & friends❣️ Another bright and sunny day here in Bay City! Beautiful blue skies, crisp 33°F at the moment. Got my morning 3 done, was particularly inspired and comforted by the mini-devo today, especially the linked article, and thought that the "How do you keep it together?" meme above (that "will stay there for a while now") was very funny because it describes my life hahaha! All of this morning's 3 were splendid IMHO actually. Not going anywhere today but will have company later this afternoon so as soon as I finish up here I'll be hopping in the shower, then doing the touch-ups around the house. One thing my mother taught me was that, if you don't have a lot of time to prepare for company, just make sure first that everything that is shiny, REALLY shines! Dust and polish those things up first and if it's all you can get done, it's usually enough that most people won't notice the rest. Wise woman, she was! (Of course I would have to add that the bird cages be clean also, since most people walk through the door and gravitate directly to them!) Anyway, I will get Wed Wags done later - though not, I hope, as late as yesterday - though if I fall asleep not much I can do about that...but it will get done!
