Nov 15, 2025 @ 10:46 Good morning family & friends❣️ It is a gray morning, but the sun was out for a while. This may be our last day in the 60s this year, or we may be surprised. 🤷‍♀️ The dinner and concert will be later today, and I pray that I can not only tolerate it, but enjoy it with my Petey. That is the only thing on my mind today. I'm not sure what the dinner will entail, it is a "Harvest Dinner". I will likely eat something beforehand, just a snack. I'm more about the fellowship than the meal. Definitely I'll take my sunglasses, not sure what I will take to muffle loud sounds though, not the gun-range-type of noise blockers I wear at home - probably something more subtle would be appropriate hahaha! Anyway, got the morning 3 done but not without some struggles; OY! Crazy formatting stuff, not sure how I messed up my template but it took a bit of work to get it back! I probably won't be doing much today other than the usual things I have to do. Finished my last load of laundry and watched a fascinating video online about music and the brain, was especially interested in the part of brain injuries and music, didn't apply to me (I don't think) but was really interesting! Fell asleep soon after and just got up to put up Friday Funnies and say good night. Pete has 2 nets on Friday evenings, he's on the first one right now. I have a cup of tea steeping, and will probably watch some TV for a while and fall asleep again. 🙄 I hope that your weekend got off to a good start, and I will see you in the morning! Nov 14, 2025 @ 12:09 Good afternoon family & friends❣️ Looks sunny outside, as of last night today's high was forecast to be in the mid-50s. I have one last load of laundry to do and then it will be done. After my long nap yesterday I ended up sleeping "around the clock" (12 hours) last night as well. I need to pretty much take it easy today, tomorrow will be an exciting day, Pete got us tickets for a dinner and concert for one of my all-time favorite groups and I'm desperate to enjoy it. It will be probably the biggest event for my brain to manage since the accident so we will see how it goes! But I will go into it with lots of rest, and excitement, and hope! Therefore, no plans for today except the usual stuff and mostly looking forward to tomorrow.
