Nov 11, 2025 @ 18:48 Good evening family & friends❣️ The grands are still here but their parents are on their way to pick them up after a very long day (for them, not us). I'm sure they're exhausted. I did get a short nap this afternoon before Luna got off the bus, the other two had rehearsal on the local play after school, and Pete went to pick them up after, then we had supper. Now everybody is on their phones except Pete who is on a net back in his ham shack, and me here on my laptop. I will likely go to bed when the grands go home so I figured I'd take this opportunity to say good night. I hope you all had a terrific Tuesday and I will see you in the morning❣️🥱🤕🙏🛌

Nov 11, 2025 @ 10:39 Good morning family & friends❣️ And to all veterans, past and present: Thank you for your service 🫡! There are several local restaurants that will be offering free meals for veterans, so we will likely go out for lunch, I love when veterans are honored, especially Pete, he is so proud of his military service (USAF 1969-1980, including a year in Vietnam). Later today the grands will be here after school, and will be staying for supper. I think I will be making steaks, baked potatoes, and corn on the cob. The blog will get its usually Tuesday updates - including a new story from Don on his Stories From Don's Pen To Your Ears page - later today, depending on how busy it gets around here. Still in the 30s today, and cloudy, not much of a breeze according to my wind spinner. Anyway it will be a busy day, but I will see you later. Nov 10, 2025 @ 19:28 Good evening family & friends❣️ I hope you had a great day! Mine wasn't what I expected (how many times has THAT happened hahaha) but Maisie had her vet appointment and is on antibiotics and steroids again and a chest x-ray will be scheduled soon to check her lungs again, the vet said that it is possible over the years that this has been happening (since pneumonia in March 2020) her lungs may have more issues now. Anyway I also stopped at a little neighborhood store for a couple of things. I have managed to stay awake all day but it was tough and I will be going to bed shortly. Sleep well and I'll see you in the morning❣️
