Pete and I will do a couple of errands and I will be putting up a Friday Funnies post later. And that is it. Today is the last day of Adopt A Dog Month and it has been fun, interesting, and enlightening to spend my mornings searching for content. And also I wish I could adopt more dogs now hahaha! That always happens...but there are so many wonderful dogs out there who will hopefully find homes where they are loved and appreciated. October 16, 2025 @ 09:07 Good morning family & friends❣️ Well first, I forgot to mention yesterday that it was our one-year Gloriaversary! We bought this house on Oct. 15 last year. Today's anniversaries are my parents' wedding (1954) and my stroke (2008). We don't have plans to celebrate any of the above, no parties, not taking out full-page ads in the newspaper, nothing like that hahaha! Anyway as soon as I'm done here I will be getting ready for the day so we can get the errands done early and I can have the rest of the day free for recovery. Although I also need to get some radiographs done...but I might wait until tomorrow for that...will see. Anyway as the sun streams in the windows here it is cheerful and warm, though chilly outside yet; when Pete got up it was 41°F and the furnace was running. We keep it at 64°F, and supplement with a small heater in the living room and one in the bedroom, depending on which end of the house we're in. Oct 14, 2025 @ 21:19 Good evening family & friends❣️ Today was way too busy, but I plan to do NOTHING (except the usual daily blog and pet stuff) because...well...it was just too much. So I did get 7 loads of laundry washed, hung, un-hung, folded, and put away. And did today's post, AND simplified (again!) my main page, AND created a new, temporary page which I'm pretty excited about; there will be a link above. It involved getting this site its own phone number for texting and setting that up, editing and setting up a bunch of pictures...well, you will just have to see it for yourself. It will be so much fun, it is just the sort of thing I love to do on others' blogs... Anyway as part of all of the work I am doing on this site I will be removing the pages that don't get any traffic (including removing them from links elsewhere and other fiddly things) and I don't use anymore, and combining several pages into a single information & contact page. But for tonight, I will sleep. As I hope for you, well, and I will see you in the morning. Good night💚💝💙💖💗

I will be home all day, no company or visitors expected, the house is clean, and my plan is to enjoy it working on my sites, playing with my PoiBoiz, and playing my keyboard. I haven't yet done my morning 3+1 but when I saw that I didn't post last night I wanted to jump on right away...that will be the next thing I do though and then we'll see what's next. Oct 4, 2025 @ 10:01 Good evening family & friends❣️ Casey & Luna were such a help today, getting the new and old furniture arranged together and cleaning up and making the living room look so nice! Very pleased with the result, and I took a video that I will try to get up in the next couple of days; there was a laptop mishap today and it will need to go in for repairs. I can use my file server to do media and site stuff but it isn't really set up like my laptop is. Still, I will see what I can do because I really want to show you the new furniture and how everything looks now! I'm going to turn in shortly but will see you in the morning, sleep well, good night❣️🥱🤕🙏🛌

Oct 2, 2025 @ 10:54 Good morning family & friends❣️ Another brilliant sunny day, expected high of 73°F. This morning my weather app said that "drought conditions will continue"; I wasn't aware we were in a drought. But I see this amazing weather will stay with us through the weekend, sunny & 70s-80s as highs, and then we'll drop down to more seasonable weather after that (highs in the 60s/lows in the 40s) with rain expected Tuesday. We shall see - that's what I always think when it comes to weather reports. In other news I am to see the eye doctor today, and I am very hopeful s/he (no idea) will have an answer and a fix for my remaining issues from the accident. Ideally I will hear, "well it knocked your eyeballs out of alignment so here's some new glasses to fix that" and this will all be over hahaha! Casey was to go with me but her job has her out of town today so I'm hoping they have a web portal to keep track of the information for her to see. I'm also excited to show you some changes in the living room if I can do that today - with Pete's help of course - with the addition of the new furniture and the adjustments that need to be made as a result. Stoked to see how that will turn out and can't wait to share it with you...plus Don's Guest Post and a Fursday gallery...but for now I've got to get ready to get this day going and I will see you later.
